This version is an easy take, but we’ve got chapters more riffs on it here. While it had its moments, the book ultimately felt like a disappointment, Feminist Ethics missed opportunity to explore something truly profound and meaningful.
However, most PhD students would not think that their lifestyles are something to aim for and the academic work they need to do does take up most of their time. As I closed the book, I couldn’t help but wonder what the author’s true intentions were – were they trying to educate, to persuade, free simply to share their own experiences, and how that impacted the overall narrative.
